The Great Northwest now on the World Wide Web

The Great Northwest now has its own website where you can find detailed information, an interactive map, and images from the project in addition to being able to stream the film in its entirety.  check out www.thegreatnorthwest.org to relive the journey.

The Great Northwest in Ashland

The full installation version of The Great Northwest will be on display at the Schneider Museum of Art at the University of Southern Oregon April 3rd-May 24th, 2014.

Sun Valley Center for the Arts

The full installation version of The Great Northwest will be on display at the Sun Valley Center for the Arts in Ketchum Idaho December 13, 2013 – February 15, 2014.

Montreal, Portland, San Francisco…

The Great Northwest will be screening Nov 9-11 at RIDM in Montreal, on Nov 18 at the NW Film Festival at the Portland Art Museum, and on Nov 24 in San Francisco at Other Cinema.  I will be in attendance at each screening so please stop by and say hello.

NEW PROJECT premiering at NYFF

The Interstitials Project is a new series of very short films that explore the term ‘interstitial’ both conceptually and cinematically.  The first for segments of this series will be sprinkled throughout the ‘Views from the Avant Garde’ program at NYFF October 5-7 at the Lincoln Center.

The Great Northwest will be screening in Buffalo, NY at Hallwalls on Sept 12th, in the UK at the Berwick-upon-Tweed Arts Festival Sept 23rd, and at the Vancouver International Film Festival Sept 29th (Matt will be in attendance at all three screenings). Future So Bright screens in Croatia at 25 FPS Sept 25th. Matt will also be showing a collection of short films and lecturing about his work at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design on Sept 27th and Cornell University on Oct 12.
